Each equestrian's journey begins by forming a strong foundation based off of biomechanics and horsemanship prior to selecting a discipline. This creates safer, effective, confident, and quiet equestrians which translates into better communication with their equine partners. As a equestrian progresses, the basics are regularly checked using tools such as dressage tests, no stirrup work, discipline changes, or switching equines. Lessons are offered as 30 minute privates, 45 minute semi-privates, or 60 minute group lessons comprised of 3+ equestrians. All equestrians begin in 30 minute private lessons until they are ready to integrate into a semi-private or group lesson setting.
We also welcome students that wish to remain completely unmounted into our program by offering unmounted horsemanship lessons. These comprehensive lessons focus on essential skills such as safe handling, lunging, ground driving, trick training, bathing, tack selection/maintenance, and other critical stable management topics.
Regardless of each student's skill level or discipline, horsemanship skills are the heart of our program. Good horsemanship is demonstrated by well rounded equestrians that understand the horse as a whole and are able to achieve maximum effectiveness with minimum effort. We seek to build a reliable and trusting relationship based off correct timing and feel so we're able to bring out the best in each equine.

All lessons are billed electronically on the first of the month and must be paid by the first lesson of each month. Lessons are sold in packages with options available to suite every equestrian's goals ranging from (1) unmounted lesson to (1) to (3) mounted lessons weekly. Considering where to begin or continue lessons is an important decision. We're an advocate for facilitating barn tours prior to the first introductory lesson. This grants us an opportunity to discuss the equestrian's individual goals, introduce what the program has to offer, meet the lesson horses, and acclimatize students to the barn atmosphere. If you're interested in a barn tour, please reach out via the information on the CONTACT page in the navigational bar above.
